LVL beams over treated pine wall frames and roof trusses

Framing timber, LVL and glulam beams, delivered

If your carpenter is cutting the frame on site, we supply and deliver the pine, LVL and engineered beams for the job, anywhere in NSW.

What we supply

Pine framing

Structural pine in MGP10 and MGP12 grades, in the framing sizes your job calls for. Send your cutting list or your plans and we'll match it.

LVL

LVL comes in many grades and sizes, for studs, plates, lintels and beams. Tell us what your plans or engineer specify and we'll supply it, single or doubled.

Engineered beams

LSL and glulam (GL) beams for openings, long spans and roofs that need more strength than pine or LVL can give.

Glulam instead of a steel beam

On some jobs a glulam beam can replace a steel beam, depending on the span and the load it carries. It keeps the structure in timber, it's lighter than steel, your carpenter can cut and fix it, and it looks good left exposed.

Glulam is usually deeper than steel for the same load, and the swap is your engineer's call. Send the plans and the engineer's drawings and we'll check each beam case by case. Read more in can a glulam beam replace a steel beam?

Not sure what a lintel needs?

Send the plans and the engineer's drawings, and we'll supply the sizes they specify.

When timber suits better than prefab

Small alterations, renovations that change as walls come down, and very small jobs are often easier to cut on site. Many jobs mix the two, such as a hand-cut extension under prefabricated roof trusses. See prefab frames vs stick building.

We deliver timber anywhere in NSW, with recent jobs as far as Jindabyne, Mudgee and Gulgong.
